This is dementia. It's not just a memory problem.
What you read in this blog is purely my own personal experience in dealing with Lewy Body Dementia every day.

This is not meant to offer any medical or legal advise.
I have no professional training in care giving or experiences in formal writing.
I'm just a woman that loves her husband deeply and wants to provide him with the best quality of life he can and chooses to have.
My prayer though this is "Lord, What am I learning from this; how can I use it help someone else and to glorify You?"
If just one person finds comfort in this public blog. I will feel like it was a success.

So much for that

Apparently when a check is issued to two people using the word AND they BOTH must be present to cash said check.

  1. Hi Kathy, thanks for your comment on my blog about my mom being diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia. So sorry you are going through it with your husband; I cannot even imagine how hard it must be. I will pray for you as well. I guess what I'm learning with Lewy Body is to hope for more good days than bad. It is a crazy disease that sometimes my mom seems like she's okay and other times very not okay. For a while before the diagnosis my brother really didn't believe me that anything was wrong with her; he lives out of town and somehow managed to only see her during good days. Thanks for sharing the links on your blog!

Thank you for taking the time to word verify comments. I'm sorry that due to Bot Spam the process is a little more time consuming.
